Yolanda's Baby Shower

Before Mother's Day, I hosted a baby shower for my friend Yolanda. She already has a son, but she was thrilled to having a little girl.

I took a few months to plan everything, including decorations, set up, food, etc.

For the centerpieces, I used empty cans from Gerber's Crunchies and wrapped them with scrapbook paper. The candles were held inside empty baby food jars with a cute ribbon.

We had a whole spread of appetizers and I wanted to decorate them as well. I added these adorable blocks, balloons, etc to each platter.

I made some star-shaped cookies with royal icing for dessert along with these cupcakes.

We had a raffle for guests who brought diapers.
